Yes, it is. A calorie is a calorie. No matter what you eat, if you reduce your calories consumption, you´ll lose weight.
But, what do you think has more calories, a hamburguer or a bowl of natural salad?
You could end up eating the total amount of calories of your day you need to lose weight, in 1 hamburguer, while you could eat a lot of vegetables 4, 5 times a day to get the same amount of calories a hamburguer has.
And of course, your not going to get satisfied with one hamburguer a day!
By the other hand, what do you thing is more healthy, fast food (hamburguers, pizza, hot dog, etc.) or vegetables?
I expect you have chosen the second option!
See? A calorie is calorie, but, if you want to lose weight without feeling hungry all the time and of course, keeping healthy, better eat more natural.
What I mean with natural food is, avoiding processed and fast food. I´m not saying you never eat those, you can have a cheat day and try some of pizza, fries, chocolate, etc.
However, while you keep eating clean most of the time, you´ll lose weight no matter what, even if you have one cheat day every week.
