Burn Fat Not Carbs

If you are eating carbs right before exercising, the first thing you are gonna burn is...... Carbs.

See, When you eat carbs you are raising your insulin, this hormone prevents your body to burn fat because it tries to use its first source of energy, carbs, only when insulin decreases, your body starts using your fat as a fuel.

Solution: Eat just protein and fats, not carbs, before exercising. Protein raises an hormone called Glucagon, and this hormone, on the contrary of insulin, makes your body to use your fat reserves as energy, that way, you're burning more fat in less time.

Better yet, try to exercise on empty stomach, to make fat first thing to burn.

Warning: If you are going to exercise on empty stomach, try to do it on fast routines, for example, 15 min burpees, sprints or weight circuits, more time than that and you are risking yourself to faint because of a lack of energy.
